How to make rotisserie chicken



Ingredients


  • 1- Whole Chicken -----------  1-kilo gram
  • 2- Curd / Yogurt    -----------  1/2  cup 
  • 3- Red Chili -------------------  1   teaspoon (Powder)
  • 4- Ginger Paste -------------  1   tablespoon
  • 5- Garlic Paste  -------------  1   tablespoon
  • 6- Black Pepper -------------  1/4   teaspoon 
  • 7- Salt ----------------------------  1/4    teaspoon
  • 8-Mustard Oil ----------------    2   tablespoons  or  30 ml 
  • 9-White Vinegar --------------   2 tablespoons  or  30 ml 
  • 10-Lemon juice --------------    1 tablespoon 


Preparation For Rotisserie Chicken;


  • Wash the chicken, pat it dry with kitchen paper towels and keep aside.
  • To make hang curd/yogurt, line a thin cloth.
  • pour one cup a curd. wring it gently and strain of the water.
  • make a knot and hang, it to a hook for 45 minutes.
  • then use a half cup.
  • then add in the curd red chili powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, black pepper, mustard oil, white vinegar, lemon juice.
  • Now mix everything well.
  • Then add the marinate over the whole chicken.
  • make sure to marinate all the parts of the chicken including the cavity.
  • Wait for 6 hours at the refrigerator overnight.

After 6 Hours:

  • Line a tray with a baking paper or aluminum foil.
  • place it in the bottom rack to hold the drippings during the process.
  • preheat for setting, preheat to over 200 degrees C with"Rotisserie Made" for 10 minutes.
  • Rotisserie made upper and lower heating rod "On" with rotisserie action.


Process Of Placing The Whole Chicken Into The Rotisserie Step By Step;


Step 1 = 
  •  Tie the wings together at the back with a string.
  • Use a toothpick to hold any loose ends.

Step 2 =
  • Use the toothpick to hold the long neck in place.

Step 3 =
  • Tie the legs together with a string.

Step 4 =

  • Insert the Rotisserie rod through the chicken as shown.

Step 5 =
  • The forks should be tightened in such a way that they pierce and grip the chicken. 
  • place the rotisserie forks 90 degrees to each other for better grip. 

 The Backing Time ;


Place the chicken in the preheated oven using a rotisserie handle.
Back for 40 - 50 minutes or until the chicken becomes crisp and get caramelized. 

Rotisserie Chicken Ready To Do.

  • Remove the chicken using a rotisserie handle.
  • Take out the chicken from the rotisserie rod.
  • Cut all the strings from the wings and the leg.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy with your favorite drink and salad.
