Avocado Salad |
Make a fresh and wildly delicious avocado tuna salad. this recipe is so easy, let's get right.
Ingredients;
- Avocado --------------------- 2 - (Large)
- Cucumber ------------------- 1 - (Large)
- Black Pepper ---------------- 1 - Teaspoon
- Lemon Juice ----------------- 3 - Tablespoons
- Onion ------------------------- 1 - (Large)
- Cilantro ----------------------- Quarter cup - (Half Small Bunch)
- Olive Oil ---------------------- 2 Tablespoons
- Salt ----------------------------- 1 Teaspoon
Start Preparing Avocado Salad;
1 - Into it, slice one large English cucumber, and transfer it to a large mixing bowl.
2 - Next, the Avocado, you can use 3 medium or 2 large Avocados, the more the merrier.3 - Slice those up and them to the bowl. The Avocado here because it gives, the salad healthy creaminess. Drain and break up your tuna with a fork.
4 - Used 15 ounces of tuna, because it gives, the salad a nice amount of protein.
5 - Now, peel and thinly slice a medium red onion and add that right into your bowl.
6 - Now, chop half of the small bunch of cilantro, you should get about a quarter cup.
7 - Add that to your salad along with 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice.
8 - The cilantro and lemon give this salad amazing flavor.
9 - Finally add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and add a teaspoon of salt.
10 - Then add some fresh black pepper. Toss it together.
At lunchtime, now you can serve this dinner as a side salad but it's also a really satisfying lunch because it's loaded with protein from the tuna.
The cilantro and the lemon give it so much ingredients fresh flavor and then you know it doesn't have any mayo.
Not against mayo but the avocado makes the salad so creamy that you don't even need it in this recipe.
