Strawberry Pretzel Salad


Ingredients:


  • Strawberry           -    16 ounce (frozen)  
  • Pretzel                  -   2  1/2  cups
  • Butter                   -    3/4 cup
  • White Sugar         -   4  1/2  tsp  /  1 cup 
  • Cheese                 -  28 ounce pack (softened)               
  • Cream                  -   8 ounce cup
  • Water                   -   2 cups (boil)
  • Gelatin                 -  16 ounce pack ( strawberry flavor)

To prepare, method  
        
1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Now in a zipper seal bag add about two and a half cups of pretzels and crush the pretzels to make the crust.
3. Measure out one and a half cups of crushed pretzels and add them to the bowl.
4. Then add 3/4 of a cup of melted butter.
5. Add 4 and a half teaspoons of white sugar.
6. Stir until the mixture just sticks together.
7. Press this crust and mixture evenly on to the bottom of a 9 by 13-inch pan.
8. Bake the crust in your preheated oven. until lightly toasted for no more, than 10 minutes.
9. When the crust is done. set in aside to cool completely.
10.   To make the filling put 28-ounce packages of softened cream cheese, into a bowl.
11. Add 1 cup of white sugar. beat the sugar and cream cheese together, until they're smooth.
12. fold in the 8-ounce container of thawed whipped topping.
13. spread the cream cheese center evenly over the pretzel crust.
14. Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate, until its set for at least 30 minutes.
15. Meanwhile pour two cups of boiling water into a bowl, and add in a 16-ounce package of strawberry flavored gelatin.
Now stir for 2 minutes or until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
16. Then add one 16 ounce package of frozen strawberries and stir it until the strawberries are thawed.
17. Spread the strawberries topping over the cream cheese.
18. Refrigerate until it's completely chilled for at least one hour and ready to eat.
