Kidney Beans Recipe, Red Bean And Rice
Ingredients;
Red Kidney Beans ------------------ 300 Gram
Cooking Oil --------------------------- 1 cup
Onion ----------------------------------- 290 Gram
Ginger ---------------------------------- 1 Tablespoon
Garlic ----------------------------------- 1 Tablespoon
Green Chili ---------------------------- 1 tablespoon
Tomato --------------------------------- 430 Gram
Cumin ---------------------------------- 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder -------------------- 1 Teaspoon
Red Chili Powder -------------------- 1 Teaspoon
Coriander Powder ------------------- 1 Teaspoon
Salt -------------------------------------- 1 Teaspoon
Hot Spices ----------------------------- 1 Teaspoon
Green Coriander --------------------- 4 tablespoons
Rice ------------------------------------- 320 Gram
Method;
First, wash the kidney red beans thoroughly and soak them in plenty of water for half an hour.
Place a pressure cooker on the stove.
Now add a liter of water, one teaspoon salt, and add kidney red beans.
Cook for two to three minutes. When the beans are well cooked, turn off the stove.
Now chop an onion, ginger, garlic, and green chilies for a curry. And grind together.
Then chop the tomatoes. Make a paste.
Now place the pan on the stove.
Heat oil in it. Add cumin seeds and fry golden.
Now add the blended onion and fry till the onion and oil start to separate.
Now add turmeric and fry for 2 minutes.
Then add tomato paste and fry for 2 minutes.
Now add red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Fry for 5 minutes. Until the spices leave the oil.
Now add kidney red beans and stir.
Let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
When the broth thickens, add hot spices. Stir.
Turn off the stove after cooking for 2 minutes.
Wash the green coriander and chop it finely and sprinkle it on top of the curry.
Kidney red beans are ready.
The method, Cumin Rice;
- Take 320 grams of rice in a bowl, wash five times, and soak in 500 ml of water for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, place a pan on the stove.
- Put a tablespoon of oil in the pan.
- Add a teaspoon of cumin seeds and until golden brown.
- Now add the soaked rice and stir for two minutes.
- Add 800 ml of water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt, stir, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
- Cumin rice is ready.
Add kidney red beans with cumin rice and eat a delicious dish.
