Ingredients


Sugar --------------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups, divided

Water ---------------------------------------- 1/2 cup

Warm water ------------------------------ 1/2 cup

Milk ----------------------------------------- 1/2 cup

Instant yeast ------------------------------ 2 1/4 teaspoons (or 3/4 ounce)

Whole wheat flour ---------------------- 1 1/2 cups, sided and distributed

All-purpose flour ------------------------ 2 cups, sided

Ground nutmeg ------------------------- 1/2 teaspoon

Ground cloves --------------------------- 1/2 teaspoon

Ground Cinnamon ---------------------- 1 teaspoon

Kosher Salt -------------------------------- 1 teaspoon

Butter Cube ------------------------------- 1/2 cup soft unsealed, chopped

Eggs ----------------------------------------- 3

Colorful sweets 'sugar'------------------ 1 cup 

(Dried fruits, 

including cranberries, 

golden raisins,

and blueberries) ------------------------ 1 1/2 cups


Method 


In a small pan, add 1/2 cup cinnamon powder. Boil the sugar over medium heat until completely dissolved. Remove from heat.

Place the dried fruit in a large bowl. Add this sugar-water mixture to the bowl with the fruit. Stir and set aside.

Now in a medium mixing bowl, mix hot water and milk.

Combine yeast with 1 cup of wheat flour and add to the milk mixture. Sprinkle the rest of the wheat flour on top.

Now set aside until the yeast breaks off the surface of the dough for about 30 minutes until the yeast has boiled.

Now grease and flour the 10-inch bandit pan.

 Strain the remaining dry ingredients together and set aside.

Take out the fruit mixture. Store the syrup as a laggard for later use.

With a paddle attachment with a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat together the remaining 1 cup of butter and granulated cinnamon until light in texture.

Add the eggs to a bowl, scraping the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula after each addition. Turn the mixer to low speed and add the flour and yeast mixture until completely combined. Add the remaining sided dry ingredients. The batsmen will be tough. Stir in the dried fruit.


Cover the batter in the prepared bund pan, and place in a warm area so that the cake can rise for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Make a glaze by mixing 1 cup of confectioners sugar and 2 tablespoons of syrup from the fruit except for the middle bowl. Stir until smooth and set aside.


Bake the cake for 45 to 60 minutes. , Until the toothpick that enters the cake is cleaned.


Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes and transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool. When cool, brush lightly with safe syrup, and top with glaze.
