Chicken Noodles Soup



Ingredients:


Chicken Breasts –----------------- 1 pound boneless, skinless 
Chicken Broth –--------------------8 cups low-sodium
Onion –--------------------------------1 medium1, chopped
Carrots –------------------------------3 medium, peeled and chopped
Celery Stalks,----------------------- 3 chopped
Garlic Cloves –--------------------- 2 minced
Bay Leaves .------------------------- 2 
Dried Thyme –----------------------1 teaspoon 
Dried Oregano –-------------------1 teaspoon 
Egg Noodles –-----------------------8 ounces 
Black Pepper –--------------------- to taste
Salt –----------------------------------- to taste
Fresh Parsley –-------------------- chopped (optional)


Instructions for Chicken Noodle Soup



  • In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, chicken breasts, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, bay leaves, thyme, and oregano. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

  • Remove the chicken from the pot and shred it into bite-sized pieces using two forks.

  • Return the shredded chicken to the pot and add the egg noodles. Cook until the noodles are tender, about 8-10 minutes.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add fresh parsley if desired.
