Chicken Potato Gravy Recipe

Ingredients:
Large Potatoes ---------- 2-3 , peeled and cubed
Butter ----------------------- 2 tablespoons
Onion ----------------------- 1 chopped
Garlic ------------------------ 2 cloves minced
All Purpose Flour------- 1 cup
Chicken Broth ----------- 1 cup
Milk -------------------------- 1 cup
Salt and Pepper --------- to taste
Instructions:
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the chicken to the pot and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pot and set aside.
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the pot. Add the cubed potatoes and cook until they start to brown, about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle the flour over the potatoes and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Gradually add the chicken broth and milk to the pot, whisking continuously. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until the gravy thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the pot and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the chicken and potatoes hot, smothered in the rich and savory gravy.
