Ingredients
All purpose flour __________ 1 cup
Suger ______________________ 2 tablespoons
Baking powder ____________ 2 teaspoons
Baking soda _______________ 1/4 teaspoon
Salt ________________________ 1/4 teaspoon
Milk _______________________ 1 cup
Egg _________________________ 1
Melted butter ______________ 2 tablespoons
The Method Of Preparation
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg until combined.
3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (do not over mix).
4. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Grease the skillet with a bit of butter or oil.
5. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet and cook until the edges are golden and the center is bubbly, about 2 minutes.
6. Flip the pancake and cook until the other side is golden, about 1 minute.
7. Transfer the pancake to a plate and repeat with the remaining batter.
