Here's a simple recipe for roasted beef:


Ingredients:


Beef Roast _______  3-4 pound 

Olive Oil __________ 1 tablespoon 

Salt ______________ 1 teaspoon 

Black Pepper ____ _1 teaspoon 

Garlic ____________  2 cloves, minced 

Dried Thyme ______ 1 teaspoon 

Dried Rosemary ___ 1 teaspoon 


Instructions:


Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).


In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary to make a paste.


Rub the paste all over the beef roast, making sure to cover all sides.


Place the beef roast in a roasting pan or baking dish.


Roast the beef for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on the desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the beef. For rare, remove the beef from the oven when the internal temperature reaches 125°F (52°C); for medium-rare, remove it at 135°F (57°C); for medium, remove it at 145°F (63°C); and for well-done, remove it at 160°F (71°C).


Once the beef roast has reached the desired doneness, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.


Carve the beef roast and serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
